My MIL thought my wedding was pretty much all about her. She bought a dress in a color that totally clashed with my color scheme. She tried getting my brother-in-law to do a speech he hadn’t been scheduled for. She showed up at the hairdresser and demanded to be styled although she wasn’t booked to be. She took the photographer out of the hall during the wedding to take pictures of her and her friends. Then the night after, she pulled my new husband into a room and cried to him for an hour about how badly I’d treated her. It’s sad, but true that you don’t just marry the man, you marry his family too. - Anonymous

I never told my husband that my parents forgot to bring the wedding bands to the hotel! We had to send someone to pick them up and they arrived 20 minutes before the ceremony.  I knew it would stress him out.   – Kallie

My wife can’t stand that I only shower twice a week.  I think it’s hilarious.   I tell her that if she wants me to shower more often, she should get in with me.  – Steven

My boobs fell out during our first dance! I was totally mortified.  My husband’s frat friends got a big kick out of it. Great.  We’re getting our album in two months and I pray there are no pictures in there.  – Anonymous

Married life is kinda….boring.  – Anonymous

I’m surprising my husband with a one-year anniversary trip to Tahoe.  It’s his favorite place in the world.  Planning all the details now.  Ah, how has it already been ONE YEAR?? – Janet

No, we didn’t have sex on our wedding night; I was too busy throwing up! Can I get a do-over? – Lily

Being married to my soul mate for 16 years and counting is the most amazing feeling in the world.  We make sure that we kiss each other before bed each night and have date night once a week.  There’s nothing like having a partner in crime in this crazy thing called life. – Eliza
