“I think a lot of it is about communication but it’s also very much about keeping the passion and romance alive. My husband [actor David Charvet] and I make sure we still have a regular date night, we make sure we are a priority in each others lives and as important as all the other people in our family. We’re still in love and we’re great friends. We both believe in romance. It takes an effort to keep that up but it’s something we’re not willing to give up.”- Brooke Burke-Charvet, host of “Dancing With The Stars,” married almost one year, mother of four, co-CEO of ModernMom.com, president of BabooshBaby.com, author of The Naked Mom, and creative director of intiMINT. With that much to juggle, Burke-Charvet deserves a marriage medal!
“Of course you have rough times. You know how it goes. When you come home and you stink, your dog still loves you. There are days your dog gives you attitude. That’s just natural hanging out with someone. I just wake up every day…I remember I am negotiating from the moment I wake up with my daughter and my wife.”- Denis Leary on the Bethenny show.
AND
“Someone told me to go f*** myself, so I did.” – Leary about how he and his wife share an uncanny resemblance.
The keys to a successful marriage: “Cooperation and respect.” – The ‘Matching outfit’ senior couple, from The Today show this morning.
“When I need my wife or when I need companionship or someone to talk to, I need it, like, now. So my wife will have to give up whatever she’s doing at that moment to tend to my needs. And in the same way, I would tend to hers. That’s not such an easy thing to do.”- Neil Diamond tells Parade, as reported by People.

“We don’t see each other much so it’s been great,” country crooner Miranda Lambert tells the girls of CBS’ The Talk (and guest talker Henry Winkler) of her marriage to Blake Shelton. Hmmmm, interesting! The two also have separate farm houses, though she admits they rarely separate for the night, if ever. On having kids? “Not right now. We have our rescue animals; we have 8 dogs.” Lambert added that she thinks kids are “cute,” but when her friends bring theirs over and they start running around, she ponders, “Maybe we should wait a while.”
