I’ve been meaning to write about this study for a while now.
A few months back, an online survey by Chase and BRIDES asked 697 engaged or recently married BRIDES readers about finance and marriage. Brides and brides-to-be resoundingly reported that they prefer not to be surprised when it comes to money matters.
Obviously.
Now. More than six in 10 of those women said they began “discussing marriage finances before their engagement.” “Considering the challenging economic times that have impacted all Americans, it is not surprising that our research reveals that financial compatibility is carefully considered by couples getting ready to exchange vows,” said Caryn Kaiser, general manager of Chase Card Services.

Lots of <3,
